Spotlights
A spot lighting or spotlight is a type of lighting system that is used for theater productions, outdoor events, and indoor decoration. The manner by which spot lighting illuminates is different from the regular type of fluorescent or lamp light since spot lighting focuses on just a particular space or area.
The spot lighting used in theater productions may have different colours, patterns, intensity, position, and focus. Theater spot lighting may also be used in concerts and other stage performances.
The spot lighting used in outdoor events are usually white in colour and are very powerful and intense. Outdoor spot lighting may be seen several kilometers away especially during night time.
Indoor spot lighting, on the other hand, are often yellowish in colour and are more gentle to the eyes. Indoor spot lighting may be used in different rooms of houses as well as in museums, galleries, and shopping malls.
Why Use Spot Lighting?
Spot lighting used in theaters may enliven the appearance of a stage and also contribute to setting the proper mood during a scene or song. Outdoor spot lighting is used to call people's attention or to advertise. Outdoor spot lighting also helps in tracking escaping prisoners.
Indoor spot lighting is a useful decoration tool since it may enhance the colour or appearance of a piece of furniture, wall paint, artistic piece, or product.
Acquiring Spot Lighting
Spot lighting for homes, theater stages, and outdoor use are available in hardware shops, shopping centres, or home equipment and appliances shops. On the other hand, spot lighting may also be purchased online or in second-hand supplies shops.
